Tixkokob, whose name in Mayan means “place of vipers”, is located in the north-central state of Yucatan, 22 kilometers from Mérida. There are records that it was founded in the year 1549. On this day, I came for lunch at Pueblo Pibil, which is one of the most renowned restaurants in the area for its rich culinary offer and for its exquisite Cochinita Pibil. Finishing lunch, nearing sunset, I went to the main church and from there I began to fly the drone, obtaining some incredible photographs by the light that I had at that time. From there comes this aerial photograph of the main square with its typical kiosk as its central point.

Tixkokob, cuyo nombre en maya significa “lugar de víboras”, se ubica en el centro-norte del estado de Yucatan, a 22 kilómetros de Mérida. Se tienen registros que fue fundado en el año de 1549. En este día fui a comer a Pueblo Pibil que es uno de los restaurantes más reconocidos de la zona por su rica oferta culinaria y por su exquisita Cochinita Pibil. Acabando de comer, a punto de que atardeciera, me dirigi a la iglesia principal y desde ahí comence a volar el dron, obteniendo unas fotografías increibles por la luz que tenia en ese momento. De ahí sale esta fotografía aerea de la plaza principal con su tipico kiosko como punto central.
